• In Ouargla, I participated actively in university life: organization of international conferences and smaller workshops, I gave motivational conferences for new doctoral students, and I offered research training for newly-recruited teachers, I was actively involved in the promotion of research throughout the university.

• I actively participated in the elaboration of the study program of the new university for elite : National higher school of artificial intelligence, Algiers.

• Reviewer for several renowned international journals (IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, ACM)

• Member of the program committee of several international conferences

• Jury member for several doctoral, habilitation and masters defenses

• Expert for different research funding organisms: NSERC, FQRNT and MITACS in Canada, ATRSS in Algeria.

• Expert at the National University Commission Algeria which is responsible for the promotion of faculty to the rank of Full professor.
